Marquette Heights Men's Club of Central Illinois

What is the Marquette Heights Men’s Club of Central Illinois?

The Marquette Heights Men's Club of Central Illinois (MHMCCI) is a not-for-profit group of 18 and older males that work together to better the community.

Members live in Marquette Heights and surrounding communities.

Every October the MHMCCI puts on Spook Hollow™, an attraction that has been around since 1979.

The funds raised from this event are put right back into the community. Funds raised have purchased equipment for the local police, fire, and city departments. The MHMCCI also donates to local scout groups, the city library, and the Enhance the Future Scholarship. The MHMCCI does a Christmas toy drive every December and donates to the fire department's Easter egg hunt every spring. If you would like to see some of the MHMCCI achievements for yourself, take a stroll through Independence Park. Over the years, the Men's Club has helped improve the park in many ways, providing both donations and labor. The park now has a lighted, blacktop walking trail, dining pavilion, handicapped accessible bathrooms, and a gazebo.

If you're interested in joining the MHMCCI, send an email to or stop by one of our monthly meetings, held the first Sunday of every month (excluding holidays) at Liberty Hall.  Also, feel free to contact us via our Facebook page linked at the bottom of this site.
